Job Brief
At DarkLion Productions, we work with businesses to build brands, create demand and make businesses move.
That means there is no single definition of marketing.
Sometimes it is a campaign/research/powerful idea/brand position/conversation with a customer/great script/design/finding something nobody else has noticed. And sometimes it is simply asking: “Why are we doing it this way?”
We are looking for curious, energetic, and ambitious interns who want to experience this world from the inside. You won’t be hired into one narrow box. You will get exposure to different parts of Branding & Marketing, discover where your strengths lie, and contribute to real projects across our brands and clients.
We want people who bring a positive rush to the brands they work on.

AI & New Ways of Working
We are building an AI-native company. You’ll be encouraged to use AI for:
- Research
- Ideation
- Writing
- Analysis
- Design exploration
- Content development
- Competitive intelligence
- Automation
- Learning
But we don’t want people who simply ask AI to do their work. We want people who learn how to work with AI.
You Don’t Need to Know Everything. You might be:
- A great writer who knows nothing about branding.
- A designer who wants to understand strategy.
- A marketing student who loves research.
- Someone obsessed with social media.
- Someone who loves understanding people.
- Someone who has 100 ideas but doesn’t know where to put them.
- Someone who has never worked professionally but is hungry to learn.
That’s okay.
We’re not hiring you for what you already know. We’re interested in how quickly you can learn.
What We're Looking For
- Curiosity: You naturally ask: Why? What if? How could this be better? You don’t just accept information. You investigate.
- Energy: We want people who bring energy into a room. Not fake enthusiasm. Positive pressure. The kind of person who sees a problem and gets excited about solving it.
- Initiative: If someone tells you:
“We need to understand this market.”
- Communication: You should be able to:
- Express an idea clearly
- Write reasonably well
- Ask good questions
- Listen carefully
- Present your thinking
- Communicate with teammates
- Creative Thinking: Creativity isn’t just designing something beautiful. It’s seeing a possibility that others haven’t seen. We want people who can say: “What if we did it differently?”
- Ownership: You won’t always have someone standing behind you telling you what to do. We want people who can take a small problem and say: “I’ll figure it out.”
You Could Discover Your Path Here
One of the biggest reasons we’re creating this internship is because you may not know what you’re good at yet.
That’s okay. Over the course of the internship, you may discover:
“I’m really good at research.”
or
“I love writing.”
or
“I want to work in brand strategy.”
or
“I’m actually a designer.”
or
“I love working with clients.”
or
“I want to understand growth and marketing.”
That’s valuable. We’ll encourage you to go deeper into the areas where you show the most potential.
How The Internship Works
You’ll work on real projects, with real brands, alongside people who are already doing the work. You’ll learn through:
Observe → Learn → Try → Get Feedback → Improve → Own
The objective isn’t to give you a certificate. The objective is to make you better. By the end of three months, you should have a much clearer understanding of:
- How brands are built
- How marketing actually works
- How businesses think about customers
- How creative ideas are developed
- How agencies work with clients
- How AI changes the way we work
- Where your own strengths lie
What You Will NOT Be Doing. You won't spend three months:
- Copy-pasting spreadsheets
- Scheduling meaningless posts
- Doing repetitive admin work
- Watching training videos all day
- Making coffee
- Waiting for someone to give you work
What We Expect From You
- Show Up.
- Be present.
- Be involved.
- Be curious.
What Makes Someone Stand Out?
- Ask better questions.
- Find things others missed.
- Come back with ideas.
- Learn quickly.
- Make things better.
- Take ownership.
- Bring energy.
This Internship Is For You If...
- Is genuinely curious about Branding, Marketing or Business.
- Wants to understand how brands actually grow.
- Likes learning new things.
- Is comfortable with ambiguity.
- Enjoys working with people.
- Wants exposure to multiple disciplines.
- Is willing to experiment.
- Wants to build a portfolio.
- Wants to understand AI.
- Is willing to take responsibility.
- Can commit seriously for the full internship period.
